My First Runner Gig

This is what I went home early from the Futures Committee celebrations for! Sarah contacted me the week before and offered me my first ever  paid runner job on BBC Digital Skills Day at The MAC!

I registered attendees at the sign in desk at the beginning of the day, and guided them to the room their events were being held in. I also got to advise walk-in attendees on which event would be most beneficial to them and escorted the professionals who held the classes to their taxis, as well as being on standby for any errands or odd jobs that needed doing.

I got to work with Sarah McCaffrey and met the lovely Ellie Hogan (of the BBC) and they were so nice to me and made my first ever paid runner job a really amazing experience.
